About the author

My goal with this blog is to help others quit smoking. My concern stems from my grandmother who smoked for over 40 years. She started smoking at 18 because all the girls at the factory smoked during breaks.

In fact, it was her father who bought her the first pack of cigarettes. He didn’t know he was starting his daughter on a dangerous habit.

Years later her doctor warned her to stop, and thankfully she did. She ended up living to be 89 years old, and lived a productive life until the last few weeks.

So this site is lovingly dedicated to Granny, 1915-2004.
